I was born a long time ago, in a small hick town far, far away, with a surname that brought pure excitement to every bully I’ve ever met during my school years…

But seriously, I have worked in IT recruitment for over 25 years and worked hard to become a leading IT career consultant. I started in Melbourne, moved to Sydney, and have been recruiting in Queensland since 2014. 

In 2021, Hampden Search opened their offices in Brisbane and then in 2023, moved their operations to the Sunshine Coast.  Since then, we have built a great network of contacts to service this amazing region.

I have worked in a range of recruitment consulting and leadership roles during that time, so I have built up some great contacts and heaps of experience.

Over this time, I have developed a no-nonsense, honest and up-front approach with clients and candidates. My ultimate aim is to provide the best technology talent for businesses, and the ideal role that each individual candidate has in mind. This approach has built up a loyal base of clients and a specialist network of candidates in the areas of project services, senior technology leadership appointments, data and analytics.

In my spare time, spending time with my Wife and 2 children is my biggest priority and regularly visiting family and friends in my home State of Tasmania is also very important to me. I love to set annual long-distance running goals, which has included 3700 km’s in a year and watch my beloved Demons in the AFL, who in 2021, won their first premiership in 57 years
